Almost half of all calls to the Crimestoppers Scotland line last year related to drugs.
Figures released today, Monday 3 February 2003, show that the public are playing their part to tackle drug dealing and misuse in Scotland, by passing on local intelligence to the confidential hotline.
To help raise public awareness of drug-assisted sexual assault, information campaigns are underway by both Strathclyde and Lothian and Borders Police.
