Directory of Services
This Directory is divided into four seperate sections;
National organisations are made up of a range of key partners who are involved in tackling drugs in Scotland. Many of them produce materials about the work they are involved in at a national and local level.
Area Drug Action Teams are the focal point for local action on drug misuse. They comprise of representatives from all key agencies involved in tackling drug misuse locally, including local authorities, police, health services, prisons and voluntary sector organisations. As a central point of contact, they can provide details about a number of local initiatives and services.
Many local and community services exist across Scotland and offer specialist help, support and advice to meet a range of needs relating to drugs misuse. A number of them provide specific information and guidance on drugs issues.
