Getting Help

This is a practical guide to the range of help and advice services which are available at local and national level.

The Know the Score Information line 0800 587 587 9 is a free, confidential 24-hour service which will put you in contact with trained operators.

They can provide you, and those you know, with advice and information. They can also send you publications and tell you about national organisations.

Alternatively, find a Drug Action Team in your area.

Find lots of help, information and advice near to you. Find details of local and community services where you live or view the Know the Score directory.

Alternatively you can visit the Scottish Drugs Forum "Where to Get Help" resource. An online directory of specialist drug agencies in Scotland including details of the drug and criminal justice services they provide, opening hours, contact information and how to make a referral.
